Description: Tara Hall B&B is a regency-style house built in the early 1800's and is the former residence of Mr William Monk Gibbon the famous Irish poet writer. The location is ideally situated in Sandycove near the Joyce Tower and Dun Laoghaire Harbour, Ferry Terminal and also Dalkey Village and Killiney.
The dining room once hosted dances and readings by Mr. Gibbon, now offers breakfast with a selection from continental and cooked. Step back in time and enjoy some Irish history and hospitality in a warm cosy atmosphere.
Location:
Located on the southside of Dublin city and approximately 10 km from the Dublin city centre. We are conveniently located on the main DART (light rail) to Dublin City and this trip provides some wonderful sea views. The nearest dart station is Sandycove/Glasthule which is a 6 minute walk away. The journey to Dublin City Centre (Pearse St. Station) takes only 20 minutes. Tara Hall bed and breakfast is only a 15 minute walk from Dun Laoghaire Town Centre and Ferry Terminal.
